Let’s be honest growing a church hard on top of that most people don’t understand all the different roles a pastor has to play each week:  Counselor for most of life’s major issues, teacher, friend, manager, administrator, husband, father, carpenter, creative director, worship leader and CEO and marketing genus. In many cases, they have to work a second job just to make ends meet.  It is a calling that doesn’t rest and often times leaves a pastor isolated, hurting, doubting and frustrated. What if I could help? After 18 years in ministry, I have discovered three steps to activate your vision and grow your church.

Vision is your preferred future. It is what you want to see happen in the future. It needs to be clear, simple, compelling and call people to action. Determine the win. A recent study shows that 87% of people in the church are not activated towards a purpose.

Our brains are wired to respond to simplicity. Having a clear, simple process to move towards the vision. The church is in the business of changing lives and has the best product on the planet… Jesus. Even more important is it is not about what we do but what HE has already done that is the center of transformation. But how do we get people to want this for themselves? A clear, simple pathway of transformation that is done in community, connects people to who God is and helps them discover their purpose in the Kingdom.

Stories move us. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate change lives then through story. We want to see transformation up close and personal… Celebrating these stories in the weekend service, through small groups, communications and one the website moves others to want that for themselves. Often times the church is about giving information on the next event…When the best announcement is sharing a story of transformation from the simple process that has been created.

Let us help you put together a plan to move your church forward.
