MATT OLTHOFF

Passionate about building the global Church, Matt has been dedicated to empowering people to step into the fullness that Jesus intended for them (John 10:10).  With a heart for equipping the church in Europe, he’s committed to engage churches, pastors, and leaders to focus on reaching the lost across the continent. In addition to being Executive Director for Project Europe, led by Nick and Christine Caine, he is an independent consultant, strategist, and pastor.

Matt has been a pastor for over eighteen years. Before his current position at Project Europe, he spent the previous ten years leading and developing local and global mission initiatives as Lead Outreach Pastor for Mariners Church (Irvine, California). A multisite community of five campuses, Matt was responsible for mobilizing the 19,000 church members to serve both inside and outside of the church.

Matt has his Master’s from Fuller Seminary in Christian Leadership and a B.S.B.A. in Marketing and Advertising from Drake University. He has studied with the Allender Center in their certificate program.  He’s an avid football player and fan of FC Bayern München and spends his time trying to keep up with his world-changing wife Bianca, and crazy two kids, Parker and Ryen.
